Appointments can be created in a patient’s folder. To create a new appointment, you must first open the patient’s folder. Search by the patient’s name or medical ID number (MID).
When you have found the patient select the name from the list on the left side of the window;

In this example we can see Wesson Smith’s name selected and patient data displayed. The last column shows all the entries in the patient folder. These are sorted by date with the newest items at the top. To add a new appointment, click the “Make Appointment” button in the middle segment of the window.

The application will open a sheet to fill in the data for the new appointment. In this example, you can see the referring physician’s name is displayed. To get a referring physician and link it, type the billing code for the referring physician in the search field and hit return. The name will be displayed.

When all the fields are entered, click “Book It” and the appointment will be entered into the system. In this example you can see that the new appointment is at the top of the list of items in the patient’s folder and that the appointment data is now displayed in the panel on the right side of the screen. This panel allows you to make any changes that you need to an appointment record.
