Getting your Radiology

Most radiology done today is digital. X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiograms, Breast Scans all create images stored on a computer.

You can ask your doctor for a copy of your radiology and they must provide it to you. You can get the data on a CD, DVD or thumb-drive.

Make sure to ask for the original files, not jpeg or other data. Only the original files will be of medical quality.

Clinics do many thousands of exams every year and it is easy for exams to be lost. It is always a good idea to keep your own copies of your radiology.
